I made a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fancharacter as an art challenge with some friends!

Doctor Baker is a scientist who works for the Speedwagon Foundation and studies stands and their behavior. He works alongside his wife, Gloria. One fateful night, referred to as “The night the lights went out” a terrible fire broke out and rapidly consumed the laboratory. Gloria was trapped inside and Doctor Baker rushed in to try and save her, but just as he’d managed to get her to safety, the ceiling collapsed atop of him and left him trapped in the blaze. As he was burning alive, it was then that the power of his stand, Saturday Night Fever was brought into the world. He was able to be saved from the wreckage by seeking shelter in his stand’s chest before it was completely consumed by the flames. Beneath his outfit, he has scattered burns across his body.

Doctor Baker’s stand acts as a “Brazen Bull” and will use its leather straps like tentacles in order to wrap around targets and drag them forcefully into its chest cavity. Once a target or “targets” are inside, Saturday Night Fever will lock itself with the leather straps and, with the move “Disco Inferno”, ignite is core temperature to roast whatever is inside it, alive. Smoke is released through ventilation slits around its body during this process. Saturday Night Fever can also control fire and set things ablaze as it runs around on all fours.
