You know, despite how some might view those males. I just had a scene pop into my head of some customers /attempting/ to ambush Dazzler, only to hear an "Ahem!" behind him as 10-12 very upset and angry males standing there, some with Brass knuckles, others with Baseball bats, a few with chains coming to her defense.

My grandparents never used that expression, but they did use "Jolly Good!" a lot, unironically. (They're both long gone now, but they were of that era.) "By Jove", too, but with a more ironic tone... for their parents and grandparents it might've been different.

There's a philologist named Irving Finkel, and he does some fantastic lectures on youtube. One thing he likes to do is put jolly into his phrasing, like 'and they jolly well did that!' and it's super endearing lol
