Made for all my friends out there who have been having a hard time lately. I drew this to show them that they aren't alone in their struggles, and that they have me to count on as a friend. Whether they need advice, someone to lean on, or just an ear to listen to them; I am there. Even though it can be hard to talk about things and admit our own hardships and weaknesses, real friends are there to help. You guys don't have to be alone with me around. This wasn't made for any one particular person but instead for all of my friends that mean a lot to me. So let me help you all dammit :D

Another thing about this piece is that I tried to make the second character on the ground look as generic as possible, so that it could be replaced with anyone's character. I toyed around with the idea of making that character faceless so it could be literally anyone, but the picture had less emotion in it like that. In the end I drew a generic canine character instead, mostly because I'm best at drawing canines. Close up shot in the background of the tears for emphasis. I wanted to draw something in the back of my own character but I had no good ideas.
