Hi everyone, I was going to react to a trailer for a good movie; however, instead, I ended up running into this one. Basically, this one is called Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado. Sol Dorado, couldn't they call it El Dorado instead? I mean, the casino in my hometown is called El Dorado. I don't think Nickelodeon is going to get sued by DreamWorks for using the name of the city. Now I'm not sure if this is meant to be a sequel to the Lost City of Gold or even a remake of it, but I guess I've got no choice but to react to this, so let's find out about this movie as we begin the reaction to this trailer, roll it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2diHa2CxMu0

0:00-0:09 Okay so we're starting the trailer where Dora is on her adventure, so we've also gotten a Deadpool moment just like how Dora and the Lost City of Gold did before. Also, Boots in this trailer looked nothing like Boots at all, I mean sure Boots in the Lost City of Gold wasn't wearing boots in the movie except at the beginning and the ending of the film and he doesn't talk until somewhere in the middle of the movie. But this is an even worse version of Boots in this movie that I'm seeing.

0:09-0:16 So according to this trailer, Dora is searching for Sol Dorado even though she could have called it El Dorado. Then we get some Indiana Jones vibes when we see that they're trying to dig up treasure and we're introduced to the villain in this upcoming movie.

0:16-0:28 So Dora and Diego found the golden bracelet in the golden box, but then it got clamped onto Dora's wrist just like the movie The Mummy Returns. Now I don't know if it's stuck on her arm or if it can come off easily, so let's hope it does even when the villains try to kidnap her.

0:28-0:41 So just like in the Mummy Returns movie, that golden bracelet is stuck to her and the villains are trying to chase after her. Then we see that kid finding a blow dart as he tries to fire it at one of the henchmen, but it hits Diego causing him to get knocked out cold.

0:41-0:56 Now I don't know if it's Dora's mother or one of her friends, but in this one, we're hearing what is going to happen and that they're finding the treasure to Sol Dorado while the villains on the other hand are hot on her trail in this. Also, when did Dora become Raven from "That's So Raven"? I know she isn't looking into the future, but the panning into her eyes thing is disturbing.

0:56-1:07 Okay so we're seeing that when they found the hidden door to the Sol Dorado city, they somehow fell into a trapdoor when they slid down somewhere. Also just like in the Lost City of Gold movie, Dora pulls out stuff from her backpack including an axe.

1:07-1:18 So now we've got our "Go, Diego, Go!" reference, with the characters getting lost in the film. The part where her map falls out of her backpack and gets burned to a crisp from the fire, makes us wonder if Map was sacrificing himself while we picture him saying "Go on without me Dora, you're on your own now." But maybe that's me because I'm just getting ideas on what is going on.

1:18-1:28 Now we see that her father is telling Dora that she doesn't need a map to help her out, but Dora expresses herself as if Boots is without his boots even though we know what Boots is like without them in the Lost City of Gold. Now Dora got her backpack swiped by a fox and Boots is caged up by the villains. I mean that fox is supposed to be Swiper? Come on, that fox isn't wearing a mask or gloves like how we know what Swiper is, in fact in the Lost City of Gold Swiper from the movie is despised he's got a thin stomach because that is what happens when you draw Swiper with a body of a weasel, but at least he looked 100% like Swiper in that movie in comparison to this fox in this movie.

1:28-1:37 So the villains took Dora and we're also seeing Dora feeling like she's no longer Dora the Explorer anymore, while Diego tells her that she still is. Talk about one sad moment in this Dora movie history.

1:37-1:49 Now we hear Dora starting to believe in herself again as in part of the Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Jumanji we see Dora calling out "Vomanos" over and over again.

1:49-1:59 So now we know this isn't going to be a theatrical release just like how Dora and the Lost City of Gold was, let alone on Paramount+ because I know that this movie is not going to go well if it were released in theaters.

Well, what can I say about this one, I think people who hated the "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" movie might take it all back after seeing this movie. This movie is trying to be a Dora the Explorer movie, however, the animal characters like Boots and Swiper are both wrong in comparison to the ones from Dora and the Lost City of Gold. This looked nothing like a sequel to the Lost City of Gold and does not feel like a remake to it either. I have a feeling that if Nickelodeon were to make a third Live Action Dora movie where they gave it a "No Way Home" treatment, we'd be seeing three Different Dora's, three different Boots, and three different Swipers interacting with each other. But it's just my thoughts, so I suggest we stick with Dora and the Lost City of Gold and pass on this one. But anyway, that was my reaction to Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado Trailer, see you all later.
