Today I found a book with an interesting cover, and the colors on it brought me inspiration. Since the theme of the book was about mysticism, I chose the cat as an animal associated with the otherworldly. Of course, Bob Mayweather does not have superpowers related to magic, although I initially wanted to give them to him, but one look at his strong body can give you advice: do not underestimate him, because Bob can be both a good ally, standing for you like a mountain, and a dangerous opponent, crushing you like a tank.. And at the moment, he's pointing at his biceps, as if to say, "Do you see these muscles? Get ready, now you will experience their fortress firsthand!"

How does Bob Mayweather compared to Edgar the muscular cat from the previous story you just wrote? I almost thought they were the same cat before reading the name.
His gray and brown color scheme between his fur and clothes is very rustic and earthy, like he trains hard in an old gym that has seen better, cleaner days. I like how his eyes are a dandelion yellow, very fierce and intimidating.

When creating Bob, I relied on... Bob the dragon from Captive. Yes, this villain, who poisoned Gervic's life for two years, became a source of inspiration for my cat. But there is a difference: for all his brutality and masculinity, Bob is gentle and kind. Still, I repeat, you should not anger him, because then you will have to be sent to the hospital... At least, I hope that this guy won't bring the fight to a fatal outcome.
Haha yeah I remember that villain, he was tragic and insane all in one. Interesting that you drew inspiration from Bob... his maniacal nature could be used as a basis for a new character now that you mention it.
Remind me what happened to him in the Captive novel? I though Gervic finally killed him, but it was never confirmed, he just got thrust over a cliff or out of a window or something.

Actually, in the second part, when Gharn is shown to us, we see Bob's skull, which means he was killed by Gerv. Here are links to pages from comics in this universe:

Oh, holy shit, that's great news! I didn't know that vju79 and finally continued the Captive series after what appeared to be its end. I knew he was starting work on another comic but it didn't feature the main characters from the original captive.
But now I know he has! Thanks for linking me I will be following up with this for sure, I had a great time reading Captive and I want to know what happens in the future.
