Look like he improve his buoyancy for the job, maybe even more efficiently than what was expected.
I'm afraid you need to improve your own to overcome his. It's always a good point for the coach to be able to show the goal to reach
Or he may have to slim down a bit, buoyancy is only one part of the thing, hydrodynamic must be taken into account too.
You sure have a better fat/muscle err, buoyancy/hydrodynamic ratio to suit my taste err to swim haste.
