Aria is the species ambassador for the dorcas at Kelp Edens Natural Reserve on Huailina, with her likeness having become licensed for a number of uses across the world. She's a prominent speaker for presentations at the educational park segments of the Reserve, a singer and presenter at various shows put on, and a m(ass)ive dork(a). Where exactly she originally came from is unclear, with her keeping her past to herself, other than the Huailina Civil Engineering Corps being somehow involved.

Technically, Aria is relatively independently wealthy apart from her job at Kelp Edens, with her licensing agreements being used to create advertising posters for various natural attractions on Huailina for travelers spending time on-world as part of the 'Weird Huailina' tourism promotion. It's often a surprise to find her working at Kelp Edens, where her presence makes for a surprisingly charismatic attraction. With the rather expensive mods that let her light up her body with bioluminescence, she most often performs near dusk or into the night, setting out ghostly shows to entertain the masses about the work that Kelp Edens does to help preserve Huailina's environment & their support work to help other worlds either recover, terraform/paraform new worlds, or produce valuable ecological research.

However, what is of most use to Kelp Edens is her black thumb, as being one of the most mechanically inclined Dorcas means she's invaluable as a part-time contractor helping to manage growth beds, repairing the underwater infrastructure for the reserve, rescue various trespassers who have gotten trapped in the overwhelming kelp forests, which often snag even swimming creatures, let alone motor vehicles. She's often called upon to save these folks, and stop various sabotage efforts brought on by the explosive growth of the Reserves interfering with commercial interests of the Nytherand Port which is seeing itself being dismantled & relocated to other anchor-spines for the Sunrise Spire's 'vator.

Much of her personal life is somewhat of a mystery, being an intensely private individual when not 'on the clock' as it would be said. She keeps what goes on in her home, situated in a fjord on the south-western flank of Mt. Hexandus, relatively private and keeps her personal life firmly separated from that of her public one. Only her love of movement, singing, and mechanical interests come through and with those it remains questionable as to whether or not those interests are actually genuine, or just a public front put on to convince others to not look deeper.

That being said, she tends to be more... gregarious in expressions, often exaggeratedly so. Given that her body language is somewhat non-intuitive for non-dorcas to understand, it's understandable that she might put on a bit of a mask for others to understand her, or at least what she wants to be understood, even if she occasionally gives... other signs. A slight glance, a look, perhaps she's not as 'care-free' or 'gregarious' as she lets on. She likes to keep her medical records relatively hidden, with few being allowed to help her out, even when she has more... 'embarrassing' issues.

Nowadays, she often turns her tinkering into help for various aquatic adaptations for a number of those who spend their lives in the seas and sands of Huailina; being an ergonomics tinkerer who's developed much of the divergent life which has taken to living in the seas of the ocean world. While much of it was tinkering to let her have her own more comfortable life, it appears much more comes from her own need to experiment and tinker. She also can be seen practicing, spinning, acrobatically testing herself and getting into shape as she grows older, being one of the oldest dorcas not a part of the HCEC. Who knows what that's all about, given she used to be quite pudgy indeed for her size.

This lovely piece concludes Bweetember in glorious fashion, with Aria officially getting her SFW ref made at last as a patreon piece from  flippin-rad! She had a previous one, but you won't be seeing it for a variety of reasons. That being said, October was supposed to have a lot more thematic work, but all of the stuff that was *supposed* to be here instead fell through and was delayed.
