This one came about from me thinking too deeply on a kids' cartoon based on a videogame. I wondered "what if Luigi really was Yoshi's mama?"

So here's Luigi drawn as a Yoshi. Imagining it this way changes a lot of the meaning of the episode. Luigi lays the Yoshi egg instead of finding it in a block; spending the first and second acts in denial about his lifegiving abilities, Mama Luigi's maternal instincts still drive him to protect the baby. Eventually, he comes to term with what he is and the fact that Mario is now an uncle.
