Same. I used to think that, instead of laughing at him, maybe one of the heroes could have given him a hug or something or listened to him. But then I met people in real life who acted very similar to Prince John -- delusions of grandeur, throwing a tantrum when they don't get their way, never satisfied, never grateful -- and it's like the more you give them the more they take from you. Watching the film again afterwards, I was like 'ohhh... now I understand... yeah that guy has totally lost the ability to empathise with anybody else's feelings but his own. That's... sad...'

I agree. It is sad.

He needs something that gives him a feeling of power!
