There are 2 types of dragon lovers
What's really funny in this community sometimes is that someone would tell me that they love dragons, and I get excited to talk with them about it! And then they share the dragons they love and it's anthro furry stuff LOL. Nothing wrong with that at all, but I definitely think of the more... traditional dragon types when I talk about my love for them. Lol

Yeah x3 in my opinion part of what there is to love is that dragons are mythical, they are dangerous, they bend the world around them, and can brush aside the laws of mortals. Oh, and also that they usually represent some force of the world (be it an element, idea, fate, etc.) and are very possessive
One does often lead to the other and it's been long enough that I can confirm that for me it's both.
With a bias towards 'feral' dragons due to them still evoking that raw majestic I associate with dragons.
No offense to anthro, but ferals definitely pull off the 'laying on a hoard of gold coins, trinkets and other valuables' scene so much better, they are definitely the masters in it.
Open to the idea of unusual hoard types though, highly recommend iguanamouth's 'hoard of' series, lots of ideas, variations of hoard types and simply fun pictures.
