The Herald-Co Hunting Shotgun was designed by the Herald-Co insurance company during a time they were struggling to stay afloat, marketed to be a shotgun safe enough even a baby could use it but in reality is as dangerous as a usual one, but their marketing team was able to trick even the U.S. Pentagon and Robco into investing into their brand and custom order dozens of these shotguns for themselves, however before the bombs dropped only 24 total was ever made, shipped to the Pentagon, Robco services in Vegas, and some to the Military Fortress in Lynchburg Virginia. the two found in Boston however are a prototype rifle, the original prototype one shown to the pentagon and a custom ordered national guard one passed down for generations after the bombs dropped.
