Avast! It looks like Mina ended up insisting on going on the "advanced ride" Emmet and Sully were gently trying to steer her away from and... things got a little out of hand.
Fortunately they managed to talk park security into merely charging them for the damaged animatronics instead of calling the police. Management honestly seemed relieved the incident didn't wind up on TikTok. Evidently Sully managed to video everything but Mina's "several aggravated assaults."
(Emmet was too tuckered out from shepherding "the kids" around all day to notice much.)
Lesson learned: don't take pirates out to see pirate things. It's uncouth.

I guess I'm viewing it the wrong way. If I went through all that and found out that this is how it's remembered, I think I'd find it both hilarious (for it's inaccuracies) and also relieved that the time/place I'm in is so far past that era that it's been romanticized.
Of course, if I were a professional in a field of history studying this era, I would likely be extremely annoyed, but I don't think I'd be capable of the sort of rage that would cause me to physically assault the animatronics.

True, although most of us have to settle for just reading about historical eras. We don't get to actually experience them.
And Mina was an undercover operative, not even a "real" pirate, so her memories are of being an actor while now watching these "actors" making a mockery of the things she put herself through, all for the sake of completing a job assignment.
An assignment she finished successfully but still resulted in her being exiled. Gell-Mann amnesia is the least of her problems.

I'd argue we're living through history all the time. We might not always realize it, but it's going on no matter what. I often wonder how this particular historical era will be remembered though sometimes, in darker mental states, if there will even be anyone to remember.
This is definitely the stinkhorn fungus on the top of the shit pie she's been handed. I would hope that things can get better for her.
