Have you ever wondered what takes place in
the more “boring” parts of the castle? 🥀
Nanette is the royal book-keeper, archivist, librarian
& eavesdropper. While most people would think being
a librarian & archivist is a boring job, in Nanette's case
is it far from it. When she isn't busy organizing the endless
sea of texts, she lurks in the quiet, dark corners of the library
spying and eavesdropping on anyone nearby. Probably the worst
place to want to share a secret. She's quiet on her feet with very
good hearing. She's also in charge of the archives and ancient text
that have been passed down in the royals for generations.
It is because of the high secrecy and sensitivity of these
texts that Nanette is the sole bookkeeper and must
be alone in this job. As there is risk of rumor
and spreading of banned information.Half
of this library is off limits to many staff
and even some royals like Ophelia
who are not allowed to dig into
these archives. But why??..

Tall, timid and shy, yet direct and explosive
at times.. Nanette can be just as intriguing as
she is intimidating. She sometimes has a short
temper and becomes very impatient. This job has
been a bit isolating for her but she's used to it. She
has been known to speak quietly and at times whisper
but can just as easily fly off the handle if something is
done improper or displeases her. Some fear Nanette
for rumors of her having gone a bit mad in this
endless labyrinth of a library. Her height can
be formidable making it easy for her to
be commanding when necessary. And
raising her voice when needed.
