Day 4 of the Art Challenge: Character as a mythological creature.
This is my main OC, Natra, depicted as a Simuran.
In Slavic mythology, Simurans are winged wolves (or dogs) that symbolize absolute loyalty, devotion, and protection. It is said that they guide the souls of ordinary people across the Kalinov Bridge, which connects the world of the living and the world of the dead.
According to legend, the first Simuran was an ordinary dog. When the gods decided to punish humanity, the dog flew up to the heavens to plead for its masters. Impressed by such loyalty, the gods spared the humans and gifted the dog a pair of wings, commanding it to continue protecting mankind.

Симураны — это крылатые волки из славянской мифологии, символизирующие преданность и защиту. Они переправляют души людей через Калинов мост, соединяющий миры живых и мертвых. По легенде, боги даровали псу крылья за его смелость и заступничество за людей, повелев вечно охранять человеческий род.
