Some people know that I had been agonizing over buying a new PC for a very long time, and finally managed to purchase a gorgeous machine. I couldn't have done it without Goldi — thanks to him for helping me assemble the PC, find compatible components, and actually find them on the market, because we all know what's happening with prices right now... And I don't know anything about this stuff myself. I was very happy to find someone who could help me with all this stuff and do everything so I can buy this components without anxiety <3.
The funny part was when, after all the numerous tests, I brought my baby home, and for several hours it wouldn't run games and didn't deliver the promised power. We tried a lot of things — we updated the drivers, reinstalled them, removed them, tried to figure out the problem...
...Until we realized that I had plugged the monitor cable into the motherboard. When it should have been plugged into the video card. LOL.
Anyway, Fuga, who had been sitting next to me the whole time, was laughing like crazy. “You bought an $1000 video card to give it a vacation” — that's what I heard more than once in the days that followed.
The problem was fixed, of course, everything works great, I'm happy, and I'm slowly transferring all my work files and programs to my new baby. At the same time, I'm on a sort of vacation, because after all this hard work, I'm extremely tired. So I'm trying not to get lost, but I don't touch the stylus very often — otherwise I'll dry up completely :D
You could say that my vacation is dragging on a bit, and I don't really feel that I should open any comms yet, as I have no energy left.
