I never post sketches. Here is a super rough and temporarily set aside sketch. I rarely see kitsunes as demons, so I sketched one in the middle of possessing an unfortunate soul.

Oh god that guy's art scared the everloving crap of me as a kid too, it's part of the reason I'm still scared of Bloody Mary today ;__;

This is exactly what a demon is supposed to be! None of this cute "hey I'm cute and fluffy but oooooooooooh red eyes so I'm evil" nonsense.
And Stephen Gammell D: Good god, that guy's art STILL scares me. There's just something...SOMETHING...about those drawings. The fact that they got put on the covers of those books is a testament to how awesome the 80s and 90s were.
