Oh god, I know x_x "It's easy, just do this, then this!" And then somehow it just doesn't work at all the way it's supposed to :b But yeah, I find that I can never quite mimic other artist's techniques, but looking at their walkthroughs and whatnot are still helpful, and you can at least walk away with a few new ideas of how to do things :)
Anyway, best of luck to you!

Haha, yeah, I know what you mean. I pretty much assumed this is kind of how people do it by looking at other artist's unfinished work, although I'm still kind of baffled by the technique that doesn't use an underpainting at all, but is entirely composed for fur-by-fur painting O_O I'm guessing it's similar to how people do scratchboards? (which I also have never done XD)
Wow, this is one of the best tutorials I've ever seen. Thank you for this, this makes me want to go out and snag a tablet again and give this a try. I've always had a hard time trying to do digital artwork since my traditional artwork style is more on the realism side. Now I have something to look at as a guide now
