I couldn't do one on the coyote without doing this speedy bird too.
Some standing poses and faces. He (?) really doesn't change expressions in the cartoons. I'll do running poses and other such in a separate sheet.

Strangely, before moving out of the desert earlier in the year, my friend Carol and I were driving "Down the hill," and encountered a roadrunner that decided to pace us, then for some odd reason tried to cut in front of us. The poor bird got hit by the passenger side front wheel, and was more than likely killed. I guess the big car excited the creature, and confused it.
The poor critter. Animals do get confused by fast moving vehicles. I've had a 5-6 point whitetail buck run along right in front of my car for at least half a mile before finally heading off the road. They're a huge hazard here and do a lot more damage than a little bird when they get hit.
