There really isn't anything out of reach of a griffin :F Though he's got such silly small wings, probably he can't actually fly with them!

You gotta play the magic card with almost any kind of critter with a substantial body mass otherwise the wing span would dwarf the body and and make the piece not practical to draw, I know, I'm just finishing one of those tonight.

I love this piece btw, it reminds me of a cocker spaniel we once had whose only apparent purpose in life was to chase balls and bring enjoyment to others as a side effect.
He looked strikingly like this griffin. He may have been part griffin. He would find balls in trees.
