To support training, the team built a scalable data engine that automatically curates large video datasets with camera pose estimation and metric depth prediction. As a result, Voyager delivers state-of-the-art performance on world exploration benchmarks while maintaining photometric, style, and 3D consistency. -

Argos Translate
Open-source offline translation library written in Python
Argos Translate uses OpenNMT for translations and can be used as either a Python library, command-line, or GUI application. Argos Translate supports installing language model packages which are zip archives with a ".argosmodel" extension containing the data needed for translation. LibreTranslate is an API and web-app built on top of Argos Translate. Argos Translate also manages automatically pivoting through intermediate languages to translate between languages that don't have a direct translation between them installed. For example, if you have a es → en and en → fr translation installed you are able to translate from es → fr as if you had that translation installed. This allows for translating between a wide variety of languages at the cost of some loss of translation quality. -

This is the main source code for the MakeHuman application as such. See "Getting started" below for instructions on how to get MakeHuman up and running. Mac users should be able to use the same instructions as windows users, although this has not been thoroughly tested. At the point of writing this, the source code is almost ready for a stable release. The testing vision for this code is to build a community release that includes main application and often-used, user-contributed plug-ins. We hope that the utility of this integrated functionality is sufficient to entice a larger cohort of testers who get value-added in exchange for the possibility of uncovering deficiencies in our application. -

CadQuery is an intuitive, easy-to-use Python library for building parametric 3D CAD models. It has several goals. Build models with scripts that are as close as possible to how you’d describe the object to a human, using a standard, already established programming language. Create parametric models that can be very easily customized by end users. Output high-quality CAD formats like STEP and AMF in addition to traditional STL. Provide a non-proprietary, plain text model format that can be edited and executed with only a web browser. The scripts use a standard programming language, Python, and thus can benefit from the associated infrastructure. This includes many standard libraries and IDEs. CadQuery's CAD kernel Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT) is much more powerful than the CGAL used by OpenSCAD. Features supported natively by OCCT include NURBS, splines, surface sewing, STL repair, STEP import/export, and other complex operations. -

Frédéric Aupépin has been supporting EasyABC on OSX. EasyABC depends upon other external programs like abc2midi, abcm2ps, fluidsynth. OpenAI Whisper is a general-purpose speech recognition model. It is trained on a large dataset of diverse audio and is also a multitasking model that can perform multilingual speech recognition, speech translation, and language identification. A Transformer sequence-to-sequence model is trained on various speech processing tasks, including multilingual speech recognition, speech translation, spoken language identification, and voice activity detection. These tasks are jointly represented as a sequence of tokens to be predicted by the decoder, allowing a single model to replace many stages of a traditional speech-processing pipeline. The multitask training format uses a set of special tokens that serve as task specifiers or classification targets.
