The BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms) are routines that provide standard building blocks for performing basic vector and matrix operations. The Level 1 BLAS performs scalar, vector and vector-vector operations, the Level 2 BLAS performs matrix-vector operations, and the Level 3 BLAS performs matrix-matrix operations. Because the BLAS are efficient, portable, and widely available, they are commonly used in the development of high-quality linear algebra software, LAPACK for example. The reference BLAS is included inside the LAPACK package. Please refer to tools built under Windows using Cmake the cross-platform, open-source build system. The new build system was developed in collaboration with Kitware Inc. Machine-specific optimized BLAS libraries are available for a variety of computer architectures. These optimized BLAS libraries are provided by the computer vendor or by an independent software vendor. -

The Ruby code is to make fixtures and reports easier. Rake is to build the project elegantly. This project also demonstrate a new way to build mixed language code in an alternative way than Make. Most of the FORTRAN are important in nature, used in nuclear and aerospace codes, etc, and maintained and written actively. Please help to bring TDD practices to the FORTRAN community. CodeBlocks With A full development environment. Took a while but CodeBlocks is now upto speed and in sync with the current release version. New version of CodeBlocks supports XML based configuration, so users can do specialized compiler support if needed. Changed away from the old Msys in favor of Msys2 which has better support for a lot of things like miktex. Old package is still there if you still need it but wont be developed on anymore. Loads of modifications compared to the Msys2 package from Alex, you can still update Msys2 packages from his server though. MinGW64 packages have to many changes compared to Alex version so those will not upgrade but im working on creating my own package server. Current Msys2/MinGW64 gcc is now 6.2.0-4 and binutils 2.27. New packages will be uploaded shortly. Stay tuned for more changes. -

Open PHIGS
PHIGS (Programmer's Hierarchical Interactive Graphics System)
PHIGS is an API standard for rendering 3D computer graphics. During the 1990's OpenGL became a more popular 3D API for professionals, and it still is today. PHIGS remains to be widely used in the film industry. Open PHIGS uses OpenGL for rendering graphics rather than implementing it's own abstraction layer to the graphics hardware, or using the PHIGS Extension to X (PEX). The reason for doing so is that today every graphics card manufacturer provides their own OpenGL implementation, which takes full advantage of the accelerated drawing capabilities in the hardware. PHIGS is a higher level API than OpenGL that works with a hierarchical scene graph. Models are built up in a Centralized Structure Store (CSS), a database containing the drawing primitives and their attributes (color, line style, etc.). CSSes cand be shared among a number of views, known under PHIGS as a workstation. PHIGS is defined by the ISO standards ISO/IEC 9592 & 9593. Open PHIGS provides a library for C. -
