Translate Shell

Translate Shell (formerly Google Translate CLI) is a command-line translator powered by Google Translate (default), Bing Translator, Yandex.Translate, and Apertium. It gives you easy access to one of these translation engines in your terminal. By default, translations with detailed explanations are shown. You can also translate the text briefly (only the most relevant translation will be shown). Translate Shell can also be used like an interactive shell; input the text to be translated line by line. Translate Shell is known to work on many POSIX-compliant systems. You may use Translate Shell from any Unix shell of your choice (bash, zsh, ksh, tcsh, fish, etc.); however, the wrapper script requires either bash or zsh installed. It is a must to have corresponding fonts for the language(s) / script(s) you wish to display in your terminal. -

XSCHEM
Schematic circuit editor for VLSI and Mixed mode circuit simulation.
Xschem is a schematic capture program, it allows to create a hierarchical representation of circuits with a top down approach . By focusing on interconnections, hierarchy and properties a complex system (IC) can be described in terms of simpler building blocks. A VHDL, Verilog or Spice netlist can be generated from the drawn schematic, allowing the simulation of the circuit. Key feature of the program is its drawing engine written in C and using directly the Xlib drawing primitives; this gives top speed performance, even on very big circuits. I have succesfully managed to simulate complete VLSI projects with this tool, both digital (Verilog / VHDL) and analog (Spice). Schematics can be printed in SVG, PNG, PDF, formats. XSCHEM runs on Linux or other Unix-likes with Xorg server and on Windows with the Cygwin layer and required tools installed. Can be found also on github: https://github.com/StefanSchippers/xschem -

This is a C library to check the validity of German and Austrian Bank Account Numbers. All currently defined test methods by Deutsche Bundesbank (Dec 2017: 00 to E4) are implemented. Modules for AWK, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#.net and VB.net are included too. The package includes also an IBAN converter to generate (german) IBANs and BICs from account data. All currently defined IBAN rules by Deutsche Bundesbank are implemented (Dec 2017: 57 rules) and tested against independent solutions.

m23 is a free software distribution system (license: GPL), that installs (via network, starting with partitioning and formatting) and administrates (updates, adds / removes software, adds / removes scripts) clients with Debian, (X/K)Ubuntu and LinuxMint. It is used for deployment of Linux clients in schools, institutions and enterprises. The m23 server is controlled via a web interface. A new m23 client can be installed easily in only three steps. Group functions and mass installation tools make managing a vast number of clients comfortable. The integration of existing clients (with .deb-based distributions) into the system is possible, too. Client backup and server backup are included to avoid data loss. With the integrated virtualisation software, m23 can create and manage virtual m23 clients, that run on real m23 clients or the m23 server. Scripts and software packages (for installation on clients) can be created directly from the m23 web interface. -

The gawkextlib project provides several extension libraries for gawk (GNU AWK), as well as libgawkextlib containing some APIs that are useful for building gawk extension libraries. These libraries enable gawk to process XML data, interact with a PostgreSQL database, use the GD graphics library, and perform unlimited precision MPFR calculations. These extensions work with GNU AWK version 4.1.1 or later. We have created a framework for packaging gawk extensions, and we welcome further contributions. Recent additions include haru, redis, and select for I/O multiplexing. -

TraceMAC is a command-line Layer 2 traceroute for Cisco switches
TraceMAC is a Windows/Linux command-line tool that allows you to trace a specific MAC address thru Cisco switches. It works by connecting to a switch using SSH, SNMP, Telnet, HTTP or HTTPS and do some "show commands" and later process the output, this will happen recursively until it finds the switch where that MAC address (PC/Printer/Etc) is directly connected. Note: It works with Cisco switches only and you must have CDP enabled at least on trunks/links between switches! Is tested with Cisco switches: Catalyst: 2960,3560,3750,4948,6509,9200,9300,9500 (All protocols) Nexus: C9332C, 93180YC-EX (NX-OS SSH) Express 500 (HTTP) FYI: It uses Nbtscan.exe (NetBIOS) as a alternative method to discover the mac address of a host and now seems that it is considered a malware. Anyway it is just a simple network tool that can scan the network similar to NMAP or Angry IP Scanner, etc... -

Cisco sanitizing configuration tool. It removes passwords, keys, certs and other sensitive data from text config files. Use this tool to sanitize extracted configurations files before you send them to audit (Ex: TAC) 'show tech-support' is good, but sometimes you need to remove more sensitive data from the configurations This tool will scan a folder with all its sub-folders and sanitize every file from that tree. But it will never modify the source files, instead it will create another folder with sanitized files. Info: The result will be another folder next to the source called "<configurations folder>_sanitized" To change the file search filter modify "SET FILTER=" in script file To add/modify/remove sanitizer syntax edit the awk file inside bin folder Usage: cisco-config-sanitizer.bat "<configurations folder>" If there are sensitive data still leaking after sanitizing, please let me know. Right now it does fit my needs, but may or may not yours ;) -
