A read-only JDBC driver for Java that uses Comma Separated Value (CSV) files as database tables. Ideal for writing data import programs and conversion programs.

JabRef is a graphical application for managing bibliographical databases. JabRef is designed specifically for BibTeX bases, but can import and export many other bibliographic formats. JabRef runs on all platforms and requires Java 1.8 or newer.

jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'.

xsd2pgschema is a Java application suite, which converts XML Schema 1.1 (hierarchical data model) to PostgreSQL DDL (relational data model) and supports XML data migration into PostgreSQL based on the XML Schema without defects on information content. It also supports full-text indexing via either Apache Lucene or Sphinx Search utilizing the relational data model. File conversion from XML to CSV, TSV, or JSON is possible as well as mapping XML Schema to JSON Schema. Obtained PostgreSQL database can be optimized at user's discretion. Moreover, differential update, and XPath query evaluation over PostgreSQL are possible. PgSchema server, serialized relational data model server, can be used to speed up the analysis of complex XML Schema. "Database to CSV" allows to back-up data from database(Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) in the form of CSV files. Each table data is stored in a separate CSV file. It also allows to load data from CSV files into the database. Program can be run from UI or from command line. There's one more advanced feature which allows merging of data from CSV file to Database. It is only available from command line. (It will take foreign keys and unique keys into consideration and then try to insert data with minimum change as possible). Note: 1) If tables do not exist, this program will not automatically create table while loading data from CSV.
