An extensible framework for distributed computing on P2P grids. We support peaceful free and open research and build an internet supercomputer. We render movies, solve Eternity puzzles, predict climate and improve a ~30 GHz cluster of clients.

The OpenSSI project is a comprehensive clustering solution offering a full, highly available SSI environment for Linux. Goals for OpenSSI Clusters include availability, scalability and manageability, built from standard servers.

the bbsc - BinBase Cluster System is a specification for the distributed calculation of jobs using j2ee and a cluster. We provide an implementation for Rocks Linux Cluster (Sun Grid Engine). This project has been merged into the BinBase system a couple of years back.

Stork is a linux 2.6 systemV inter process comunication layer extension. Stork process can share IPC objects, like semaphores or messages passing buffer, in a distributed multi-architecture cluster.
