Open Source PHP GIS Software for Linux

A PHP and JavaScript Web mapping framework and demo application for MapServer (see http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu) based on MapScript/PHP.

This project provides and open source implementation of HELD and related specifications. A HELD client and Location Information Server are included.

A web-based maintenance management system for water and wastewater networks. Allows to store customer complaints and issue workorder sheets. Rather than using street names, maps and landmarks are used for navigation.

Map-Fu is a full-featured web mapping interface written using PHP/Javascript that can be modified and used as part of a custom web mapping application. It is designed to function as part of an open source mapping stack including UMN Mapserver.

MapMyGlobe CMS is a map-based, geolocated, mobile-conscious, fully extensible collaborative open-source CMS.

The project wms2GO is designed to build a local executable WebGIS application out of pre-defined or manual selected WMS (OGC WebMapServices) of free map extract. Thus it is possible to use this application on a mobile device (e.g. a laptop) without any network access. Manuals for Installation and Setup have been added to the SVN.
