A classless CSS framework that makes semantic HTML look good. By classless I mean that there are no CSS classes anywhere in the CSS or the HTML. When starting a new project, I wanted a CSS framework that would get me up and running quickly, and give me something I could hack on. I got sick of all these giant frameworks that include everything but the kitchen sink, 90% of which I’ll never use. For example, the minified CSS for the Bootstrap framework is 144KB in total. By comparison, Simple.css is around 4KB. Obviously Simple.css and Bootstrap don’t compare in terms of their functionality, but Simple.css allows website developers to spin something up very quickly that looks good and needs very little work. By using something like Simple.css, provides the basics to get up and running quickly (or just use it as-is for a simple, good-looking site) yet not have to learn an extremely convoluted framework.

This module is similar to JSX, but provided as a standards-compliant ES6 tagged template string function. hyperx works with virtual-dom, react, hyperscript, or any DOM builder with a hyperscript-style API: h(tagName, attrs, children). A toolkit that simplifies the creation of rich and interactive 2D or 3D experiences. LUME is composed of several packages that can be used individually, or together as a whole. HTML elements for easily defining rich and interactive 2D or 3D applications powered by CSS3D, WebGL, or both mixed together. This is a web component system that allows you to create new, fast, and performant HTML elements in a simple way. It provides the foundation for LUME's HTML elements and a standard pattern for building new elements that extend the features of LUME. Augment HTML elements with features called "behaviors" that are similar to custom elements: each behavior is defined as a class that has the same lifecycle methods as custom elements. The difference is that an unlimited number of behaviors can be associated with an element.

The critical path is the path to render a web page, what's needed before that can happen. CSS Stylesheets block rendering. Until the browser has requested, received, downloaded, and parsed your stylesheets, the page will remain blank. By reducing the amount of CSS the browser has to go through, and by inlining it on the page (removing the HTTP request), we can get the page to render much, much faster. You should minify the critical CSS, then inline it on your page (wrapped in <style> tags). It should be placed in the header, replacing the full CSS link(s). The full CSS, and JS script tags (which also block rendering), should be moved out of the HEAD, to the end of the page, just before the closing body tag. You need to generate critical CSS for each page individually. Make sure to only move down the full CSS to the bottom of the page for pages where you have inlined critical path CSS in the header.
