Arabeyes is a Meta project that is aimed at fully supporting the Arabic language in the Unix/Linux environment. It is designed to be a central location to standardize the Arabization process. Arabeyes relies on voluntary contributions.

The Linux GPIB Package is a support package for GPIB (IEEE 488.2) hardware. The package contains a development environment consisting of a GPIB library written in C, kernel driver modules, and bindings for several other languages.

Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. Xplico is a Network Forensic Analysis Tool (NFAT). The goal of Xplico is extract from an internet traffic capture the applications data contained. For example, from a pcap file Xplico extracts each email (POP, IMAP, and SMTP protocols), all HTTP contents, each VoIP call (SIP, MGCP, MEGACO, RTP), IRC, WhatsApp... Xplico is able to classify more than 140 (application) protocols. Xplico cam be used as sniffer-decoder if used in "live mode" or in conjunction with netsniff-ng. RefDB is a reference database and bibliography tool for SGML, XML, and LaTeX documents, sort of a Reference Manager or BibTeX for markup languages. It is portable and known to run on Linux, Free/NetBSD, OSX, Solaris, and Windows/Cygwin.

A simple command to convert calendar dates to julian dates. Quite useful in timing situations where you need elapsed time between dates. Also useful for astronomy applications.

APRS World is comprised of an Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) parser and a web interface. The parser connects to an APRS feed and inserts packets into a MySQL database. The web interface provides a convenient means of retrieving this data. This

JAWS - Jefferson AWS, linux port of AWS weather station interface. JAWS runs on a linux computer connected via serial to a AWS datalogger. It then logs and sends weather data. The data can be sent to a csv log file, wundergound, and mysql.

There are different files supplied. One program for webcam controlling inline with the orginal idé. And different help classes if you would like to do something yourself. Also a general package of classes to communicate with the RS232 port.
