PHPMailer – A full-featured email creation and transfer class for PHP. Support for UTF-8 content and 8bit, base64, binary, and quoted-printable encodings. SMTP authentication with LOGIN, PLAIN, CRAM-MD5, and XOAUTH2 mechanisms over SMTPS and SMTP+STARTTLS transports. Validates email addresses automatically. Many PHP developers need to send email from their code. The only PHP function that supports this directly is mail(). However, it does not provide any assistance for making use of popular features such as encryption, authentication, HTML messages, and attachments. Formatting email correctly is surprisingly difficult. There are myriad overlapping (and conflicting) standards, requiring tight adherence to horribly complicated formatting and encoding rules – the vast majority of code that you'll find online that uses the mail() function directly is just plain wrong, if not unsafe! -

Ultroid has minimal amount of plugins (just the necessary ones) in the main repository, and all the other less-useful stuff in the addons repository. Scalable real-time messaging server in a language-agnostic way
Centrifugo is language-agnostic. It's a standalone server with a simple API that integrates well with an application written in any programming language. No need to change an existing application architecture to introduce real-time features. Just add Centrifugo nearby and let it deal with persistent connections. Centrifugo is built in Go language with some smart optimizations inside. It has good performance – see a description of a test stand with one million WebSocket connections and 30 million delivered messages per minute with hardware comparable to one modern server machine. Many built-in features can help to build an attractive real-time application in a limited time. Centrifugo provides different types of subscriptions, hot channel history, instant presence, RPC calls. There is also the possibility to proxy WebSocket events to the application backend over HTTP or GRPC and more. -

MQTTnet is a high-performance .NET library for MQTT-based communication. It provides an MQTT client and an MQTT server (broker) and supports the MQTT protocol up to version 5. TLS support for client and server (but not UWP servers). Extensible communication channels (e.g. In-Memory, TCP, TCP+TLS, WS). Lightweight (only the low-level implementation of MQTT, no overhead). Performance optimized (processing ~150.000 messages/second). Uniform API across all supported versions of the MQTT protocol. Tested on the local machine (Intel i7 8700K) with MQTTnet client and server running in the same process using the TCP channel. The app for verification is part of this repository and stored in /Tests/MQTTnet.TestApp.NetCore. List of connected clients available. Check on your node stats, explore the IPLD powered merkle forest, see peers around the world and manage your files, without needing to touch the CLI. When working on the code, run an ipfs daemon, the local dev server, the unit tests, and the storybook component viewer and see the results of your changes as you save files. If you need to run IPFS in a Docker container, you can still have Web UI available by exposing both the Gateway and Web UI ports. The end-to-end tests (E2E) test the full app in a headless Chromium browser. They spawn real IPFS node for HTTP API and a static HTTP server to serve the app. The purpose of those tests is not being comprehensible, but act as a quick regression and integration suite. -

Command line peer-to-peer data transfer tool based on libp2p. There already exists a long list of file transfer tools, so why bother building another one? The problem I had with the existing tools is that they rely on a limited set of servers to orchestrate peer matching and data relaying which poses a centralization concern. Many of the usual centralization vs. decentralization arguments apply here, e.g. the servers are single points of failure, the service operator has the power over whom to serve and whom not, etc. Further, as this recent issue in croc shows, this is a real risk for the sustainable operation of the provided service. -

Since then, 10+years later, the code remains unbroken and is in wide production use world-wide. It has been ported to all major architectures and been used as a template for ports to different computer and human languages. This is very mature and stable code. Although this comes from a project that was constrained by export controls and is used in secure systems, it is not security code per-se. I have therefore altered the 'Export Controls' category.

PingMe is a personal project to satisfy my need to have alerts, most major platforms have integration to send alerts but it's not always useful, either you are stuck with one particular platform, or you have to do a lot of integrations. I needed a small utility that I could just call from my backup scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines, or from anywhere to send a message with particular information. And I can ship it everywhere with ease. Hence, the birth of PingMe. Everything is configurable via environment variables, and you can simply export the logs or messages to a variable that will be sent as a message, most of all this serves as a swiss army knife sort of tool that supports multiple platforms. -
