Audience
Enterprises who want to protect their sensitive corporate assets from unauthorized access without deploying agents or proxies (including assets that couldn't be protected by MFA solutions until today)
About Silverfort
Silverfort’s Unified Identity Protection Platform is the first to consolidate security controls across corporate networks and cloud environments to block identity-based attacks. Using innovative agentless and proxyless technology, Silverfort seamlessly integrates with all existing IAM solutions (e.g., AD, RADIUS, Azure AD, Okta, Ping, AWS IAM), extending coverage to assets that could not previously have been protected, such as legacy applications, IT infrastructure, file systems, command-line tools, and machine-to-machine access. Our platform continuously monitors all access of users and service accounts across both cloud and on-premise environments, analyzes risk in real time, and enforces adaptive authentication and access policies.

"Silverfort is a cool vendor in Identity and Access Management : Gartner2019 says" Edited 2019-12-10
Pros: -Silverfort is an agentless platform.
-It doesn’t require proxies.
-It doesn’t need to decrypt network traffic.
-It can secure authentication and access to any sensitive system, including those considered ‘unprotectable’ until today.
-It enables enterprises to achieve Zero Trust security without rebuilding their networks.
-It leverages an AI-Driven Risk Engine to continuously analyze risk and trust.
-It can detect and block threats in real-time.
-It lets organizations maximize security while minimizing disruptions.
-It can be integrated with the existing & legacy MFA tools.Cons: -It doesn't provide an OTP feature in it, because recently some of the breaches happened through OTP.
-It doesn't sell hardware tokens but able to integrate with the 3rd party tools(eg. Yubikey).Overall: As Corporate networks are going through dramatic changes in recent years, due to IT revolutions such as the cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and more. In this new reality, with countless devices and services that are all connected to each other without clear perimeters, traditional authentication solutions become irrelevant, and this kind of NextGen MFA approach is needed to fix those mentioned challenges.
