⭐️ “Lilith in the Valley of a Thousand Sculptures”
Mixed media: coffee, graphite, white pencil, colored pencil, and gold leaf on Arches paper.
This is the first piece to surface from the Labyrinth.
Some paths take longer to find. Some are worth the wait.
In pale marble, she carves a tree.
Fruit after fruit, leaf after leaf, while the Golden Serpent — patient, watchful — coils nearby, following each movement of her hands.
This is not ornament.
It is a seed planted in stone.
Not an apple tree, but an idea — one that will grow through centuries, in places she will walk through again.
One day, far from here, with other tools and another kind of wood, her hands will shape something meant to carry further still.
And when that day comes, she will remember this moment.
For now, she works in silence.
The Golden Serpent leans closer.
The chisel falls again.
And the stone begins to remember.

Technique mixte : café, graphite, crayon blanc, crayon de couleur et feuille d’or sur papier Arches.
Voici la première pièce qui émerge du Labyrinthe.
Certains chemins demandent plus de temps. Certains en valent l’attente.
Dans le marbre pâle, elle sculpte un arbre.
Fruit après fruit, feuille après feuille, tandis que le Serpent d’Or — patient, attentif — s’enroule non loin, suivant chacun de ses gestes.
Ce n’est pas un ornement.
C’est une graine plantée dans la pierre.
Non pas un pommier, mais une idée — qui poussera à travers les siècles, dans des lieux où elle reviendra.
Un jour, loin d’ici, avec d’autres outils et un autre bois, ses mains façonneront quelque chose destiné à porter plus loin encore.
Et ce jour-là, elle se souviendra de cet instant.
Pour l’instant, elle travaille dans le silence.
Le Serpent d’Or se penche.
Le burin retombe.
Et la pierre commence à se souvenir.
