‎I briefly watched TNBA, and... Maybe if it were a standalone series, it would be for the better, but the fact that they position themselves as a continuation of BTAS forces you to compare them. Personally, I found the story arcs a bit weak, and I'm not a fan of that angular art style at all, with those dark circles under the eyes, just as I don't understand the need for the redesigns. Okay, costume redesigns are interesting, I get it, but why change the characters' appearances if you insist it's a continuation? I don't like how they redesigned Penguin, Ventriloquist, and Baby Doll, and I'm not sure about Croc either. And the Mad Hatter, he looks like a completely different character. Especially since, as far as I understand, only two years have passed canonically, he couldn't have changed THAT much. ‎ ‎So... just a quick sketch. Although I liked the green palette, so I kept it. And I think this is still more than two years later, maybe six or seven?

Before I continue. SERIOUS SPOILERS FOR TROLLHUNTERS SEASON 1

Here it is!! 24 pages of pure Trollhunters Drama.

Pages 1-8

This is a little made up idea of how the 3 remaining characters are left after Jim goes to the Darklands alone when they all agreed originally to go together. Tensions are high. Toby starts to panic, Blinky thinks he’s failed them all, and Claire just wants everyone to fix this. I really wanted Blinky to be a real troll dad. He discipline’s because he loves them, but he’s also struggling with his own feelings.

Pt. 2

I've been giving some thought on how Otto's harness could be removed for Jo reason at all, but searching about it made it so much clearer for me to understand.

Last time, I had commented on how the AI chip could be removed. Now, it's time for the harness. All images are going to be diagrams.

First off, we need to clarify that Otto's harness is burnt to his body. It might be considered a severe burn, even. With this said, I want to add that none of the operations would be easy given the fact of the possible outcomes it might have, such as blood loss and hypothermia. The operations — most of them, at least — need general anesthesia, meaning that every part of the patient, if not the patient itself, would be asleep.

What we see on top is a Laparotomy. What is a Laparotomy?

In severe cases, doctors may need to make a larger incision to repair any internal perforations or "internal heat damage" caused by the metal’s conductivity. And, if we are being honest, and like we said in the previous part, Otto has exposed himself and the harness to a lot of things, such as water and electricity.

There is another procedure to check for any bacteria using a camera through an incision they make through the upper part of the groin.

This diagram of tangential excision shows a surgical technique for removing dead tissue from deep burns layer-by-layer, parallel to the skin surface. The doctors remove the burnt tissue until they find a healthy layer that the area can heal from.

The burn here is purple/crimson red, that signals second degree burn.

There is also another procedure called the Flap Surgery, that is used aesthetically — if I'm correct — but also can be used for burns. Flap surgery for burns involves transferring healthy tissue, like skin, fat, or muscle, with its own blood supply from one body part to cover deep burn wounds. I tried to find a diagram, but they were all very descriptive.

These details might be wrong, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes made.

EXTRA;

Otto, besides having DID — Dissociative Identity Disorder — has acute arachnophobia.

// THE END !!

[first comic] [previous comic] [You are at the end!]

Happy 8th Anniversary to the release of It (2017)!! I can't believe this silly project has been going on for so long-- Or that we got to the end! Thank you all so much for sticking with me throughout all these years.

This project was originally intended to be a cute one-off hypothetical of what would happen if the story went in a slightly different direction and played with slightly different themes than the movie/book, and then got extremely out of hand. What would it be like if the embodiment of Destruction, eternally opposed to its sibling Creation, was challenged to rethink what the function of destruction could be? What if the theme of cycles addressed how we can get mindlessly caught in our own cycles, be they abuse we're perpetuating, or waking up every 27 years to eat a bunch of kids because that's what you've always done?

What if Beverly's dad got EATEN ON SCREEN BY A BIG OCEAN OF ELDRITCH LIGHT THAT LOOKS LIKE A GIANT CLOWN DOLL SOMETIMES??

Anyway, this comic has come along with me through five apartments, three years of graduate school, a global pandemic, and my first Real Grownup Job. I can remember curling up at my desk in my since-sold childhood home when I made the first comic, and now as I'm typing this I'm at my desk in the studio room of my own apartment across the country finishing this send-off. What a ride!! Thank you again so much for coming along for it :)

Minecraft food pt. 1

These foods are traditionally eaten in plains villages. Small game like chicken and rabbit, as well as fish, are eaten throughout the year, while beef, pork and lamb is usually reserved for special occasions. This is both for availability and theological reasons. More below 👇

Anonymous asked:

Rowan looking cute with a more puffy hair!

can I see Rowan helping Barnaby study but he gets distracted by her cat?

Glad you ok

(thanks! I really like drawing fluffy hair and it was unfair for Rowan to miss out on 80s hair on top of everything else 🥲)

Rowan is the best choice for helping to study History of Magic but Fuzzclaw is a major distraction.

(and at last I see the light)
