one of the most important skills that trans women can develop, especially for those of us who indulge in t4c slop, is discerning which cis women are actually into us as women, versus the much largy body of cis women who are only "into" us as transmisogynized, fetishized, and masculinized (or, at "best", sissified) sex objects.
this of course also relates to my longstanding position that cis women who want to, for whatever reason, become intimiate with trans women should be expected to spend time in transfeminist spaces and learn transfeminist theory. if you say you like us but wont put in the effort to learn the intricacies of the specific forms of oppression which we face, then you dont actually like us.
