OMG I’m retiring after 35 years in public education in Miami Florida, moving to Hattiesburg MS, and leaving my entire family behind.

So excited in a definitely bittersweet way, extremely anxious about the future, and worried my husband and I will not be able to survive financially on our pensions.

I will miss my second graders’ smiles, little stories, and hugs hugs hugs!!!!!! Thank you for the privelege🙏🏻

Shoutout to MDCPS- they molded me as a student from kindergarten through graduation 👩‍🎓, hired me as a teacher, and let me stick around for 35 years.

ALL my love, admiration, and appreciation for my parents who made it all possible through guidance, high expectations, support, and deep persistent love❤️, and an assurance that they weren’t too old to kick my ass if necessary!

My husband, life partner, and soulmate will always be my heart’s jigsaw fit. We’re almost there honey 🍯 We are about to embark on our new adventure, move to another state, and drive 20 hours with our 2 dogs 🐕 in the back seat of our Chevy.

Glory to God to for his hand in everything ✝️, his tender care, and Divine intervention.

Well I went down a rabbit hole and found out tv sweeps are through July. Prospect Park lawsuit prevented ABC from bringing back any characters from AMC or OLTL. But no longer!!!

Even more exciting- Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos put out the idea of a Pine Valley reboot 2 years ago. Maybe now they can move ahead 😊. So excited.

Best homemade chicken and dumplings are with Pillsbury frozen southern style biscuits. Tube ones won’t work. Allow to defrost cut into thirds. I use leftover roasted chicken carcass from rotisserie chicken to make broth. In a tall pot two cups strained boiling chicken broth drop in defrosted biscuit thirds. Biscuits will puff and cook in 4-5 minutes med high heat no cover. Add slurry of 1/4 cup milk with 1 tablespoon of corn starch to thicken. Add meat you picked off cooled carcass. Add pepper.
