Obviously at this point when a soothsayer or trio of witches chanting in unison tells you that you can’t be killed by xyz then somebody is gonna kill you that’s part of the loophole.
So at this point you’ve been told “no man will kill you” so you think “ah I shall stay away from women and children then. Clever of me” and then you get mauled to death by a bear.
“No person with an arm to swing a sword can kill you”
Cue capture of all people missing a limb in the kingdom. Dies of dysentery.
“No weapon forged by man or elf may harm him”
Confiscates every dwarf and giant made weapon in the land. Gets pushed off a cliff.
“Your end shall be a white haired woman in grey”
Doesn’t go near any white haired women. Gets old. Thinks it’s worked. Looks in the mirror. Realizes hair has turned white and that you’re wearing a grey dress. Immediately has a heart attack from all that stress and alcoholism.
mesmerised by this random photo taken by the hiking club I'm part of. the soft cool tones and radiant warm tones, the composition and lighting...
I think this is the best part of this photo. the point of that entire trip was to find and read an old storybook that they knew was at a particular hut. he genuinely is reading it out loud to the others. I can't remember what it was about, but this scene is the cozy and well deserved reward of a wild endeavour through rugged terrain. I think that's beautiful [:
[ID 1: A group of three hikers sitting at a table. Two of them are resting, the other is flipping through a book. Various items are scattered across the table, and they are lit by a small candle.
ID 2: Tumblr tag that says: what is he reading that put them to sleep. End IDs.]

tumblr has a fascinatingly large population of the type 'I am a revolutionary communist, and also if you're a woman/POC/visibly queer leaving the house is horribly dangerous and you should live in fear'.
These things aren't like, necessarily mutually exclusive. But in practical terms I feel like revolutions require a bit more risk tolerance than what is usually being put down y'know?
Are you ever just constantly struck by how women are not allowed to have body hair in film or TV
