I will never understand the people that refuse to acknowledge the fact that Damian loves his family (his mother and grandfather especially).
Yes, all of them are abusive; even Bruce in his own way. And Damian is an extremely smart kid, he knows they are.
Damian sees the way in which his family falls into toxic behaviors, he knows just how lacking were while raising him. And he doesn't shy away from that truth, doesn't excuse it, doesn't forget. He does resent them a bit for it.
But at the end of the day Damian loves them. Would die for any of them, move earth and sky.
And I think the fact that Damian loves his family, in spite of what they've done, speaks volumes about who he is.
He's willing to forgive them and give them another chance. More than because they're family, because that's the type of person Damian is.
He's forgiving, loyal, kind, he believes in second chances, has the biggest of hearts, and he's smart enough to know that he wants to be better than them.
If he's right or wrong for loving them is not up to me to tell, but not acknowledging he does strips a whole layer of his character.

Hey. This a quick life update so feel free to ignore, I usually don't share personal stuff on this blog but I feel like I need to do it for my own piece of mind.
So, I really haven't been active here for almost two months straight now. I just sort of stopped posting stuff. And well I've never really been one to have a schedule but I also never have had so many people following me, so I guess I feel more obliged to apologize for that.
Long story short my life went full on 180 on me, just bad. And, it has been really hard to find time to be creative during this time.
It's very frustrating to me, because I want to be creative, but is like someone cut my energy half short an by the end of the day I just can't even finish a thought. It's been eating at me.
I want to come back to this blog, I really do. This blog is my creative outlet and all I have to truly just let go.
I guess all I want to say is thank you thank you for the support and please be patient with me, I'll try my best to be better at posting.

Hear me out, even after learning Jason is a human, Damian still treats him like a wild animal he's trying to befriend and it works
Jason is and has been running in survival mode for so long that approaching him normally won't work and either Damian notices/understands it because he is more removed from the situation emotionally than the others, or he just got used to think of this Jason as a wild animal that he forgets to change his approach

Desperately need people to remember who Ra's Al Ghul is and what he stands for.
Ra's and the whole league of assassins are supposed to be eco-terrorist. His whole fight with Batman is because both Ra's and Bruce saw wrong in the world and they both wanted to save it.
But the conclusion Ra's arrives to, is that humanity is a plague and to save the world, people need to die.
It's ment to juxtapose Bruce ideology. Where Batman believes in reformation, in second chances, and that every life that can be saved should be saved; Ra's believes the lives of mere humans are a cheap price to pay for the sake of the world.
People need to remember that Ra's trained Bruce, and for a while Bruce was on his side. He's not that different from an anti-hero
The memories Dick makes of his family are so fucking cute man.
