EXPLANATION!!

ok so: how do you use neos/xenos?

take this starter sentence

now, imagine you only use the name of who you’re talking about.

now, instead of using their name, replace it with whatever noun their pronouns use

or

instead of himself/herself, the xeno equivalent would be (noun)self

i hope this made sense? you don’t have to use just one set of xenos in a sentence, you can use someone’s name and however many xenos you want in a sentence/statement.

this may be a horrible explanation who knows, if you’re really curious i suggest doing some more research and also looking into xenogenders. for me PERSONALLY im not too pressed about their use. he/they are fine for me, if you’re feeling adventurous use it, and even more brave use xe or ze or any of the xenos. it’s a fun thing for me.

ALSO this is the episode that lays everything out, the power structures in the world are laid out it’s THE exposition all questions answered episode

i love the magnus archives it’s beautiful it’s one of my longest reoccurring hyperfixations it scares the shit out of me and makes me paranoid but it doesn’t matter it’s so beautifully woven and written idc. there’s casual queer representation, both in the background and the foreground. there’s doomed gay people all around and badass lesbians and canon asexual rep and one of the mcs/the love interest is canonically chubby/fat and it’s gorgeous. the voice acting is really good if you don’t do well with auditory media then there’s unofficial transcripts you can read or follow along to. things link back together and every time i relisten to it there’s something new i catch. if you want the gays and horror stories and a character who is often out in Situations then i really recommend the magnus archives. evil women. imo well written women. murderous gay people. evil old gay men. a cat called the admiral. idk i love the magnus archives. they really archive it up with magnus around.
