    I totally used to just because i saw a lot of other artists offer discounts. I respect the hustle if you’re trying to attract more business but you are still doing twice the work!! You are not a wholesaler offering a bulk discount on mass-produced goods you’re doing this all by hand

    the whole buy 2 get the third discounted thing makes total sense if you’re selling say. stickers. you do not have to put $3 into the printer to make each sticker - you’re likely already selling them for more than the production cost, so offering a discount just helps move product.

    so many artists already charge way under minimum wage; i’d really encourage you to Not charge only 1.5x for 2x the work if you’re able
