It is exactly what you think it is.
I got this game thinking it was going to be an anime art style Papers, Please that lets me be as professional or as perverse as I want with my power and authority over others. I was right! I've only played a bit so far, but I can confirm that with the free UNRATED DLC that all art for characters and CGs is completely uncensored and has no pixelation.

A solid knockoff
--Preamble-- As with almost every prn game there is some tolerance required of the player, to look past the "questionable" aspects of the game. If I had to grade the questionable content I would give it a 3/10, with 0 being morally acceptable and 10 being the most disturbing sht you'll ever see. --Review-- Originally I had little expectations of this game, mainly because the limitations of RPG Maker made me question how well the game could emulate Papers Please (which I am a huge fan of), but I was pursuaded by a multitude of positive reviews. The game starts of very easy, so easy in fact that I thought my previous assumptions to be correct. The difficulty increased slightly though and thus, the gameplay loop was enough to keep me happy. The story is suprisingly decent if you are into that sort of thing. The gameplay sadly never gets as deep as Papers Please, due to, I'm sure, the aforementioned limitations of RPG Maker, but the game substitues this by introducing a few mechanics, that make the experience pleasant enough. The character portraits are barely varied enough, but really just barely, to keep the visuals interesting. Over all I am most interested in the potential of this game, to take a formula like the arcady, but story driven Papers Please and turn it into a prn game, without sacrificing too much of the gameplay.

What a great porn game
Yes, it's just an easier Papers Please where you can have your way with any of the quite extensive cast of characters. To get the whole reason somebody would be reading this out of the way, yes, absolutely yes play this game. My favorite parts are the gameplay, the "gameplay", the art/"art", and quite honestly the characters/"characters" and story. Really it is all pretty simple but really enjoyable, I'm glad they didn't overdo anything and while I didn't really see the plot twist coming, I thought it was interesting. There's a pretty limited range of things you can do, "mechanically". However, it's still quite fun and pleasurable. Your limited set of actions effect all of the characters differently, some different dialogue yes but also just in terms of figuring out what works on them or not. Then along with the story, then some of the things you do with the characters can like effect guards too, it's pretty cool. Personally, I wish they included a hard mode or something. Something that would have deadlines, make you strapped for cash, and actually consider utilizing the mechanics available to you more effectively Because really you can just not play the game, you do the bare minimum, ignore all of the warnings, and eventually you'll end up at the endgame. There's no reason to buy the upgrades, the consumables just makes the "pat-downs" easier/succeed automatically, all that happens is you get a 20 dollar deduction out of your typically 200+ gold check. There's even a character that increases your gold earnings by like 3x so I think they kind of wanted to do it but didn't? You can get punished too with like harsher point deductions if you make a mistake but there's no consequences really, you live another day, it just makes the game slightly longer. That really is my only complaint though. I really loved this game and I played until the ending in one night. There is still more content afterwards that I will hit on another time but overall 10/10 as a porn game
