How booking works for hosts of services and experiences

Hosting services and experiences through Airbnb is a great way to share your skills and meet new people. Once Airbnb has approved your service or experience and you've published it on Airbnb, guests can book available dates.

Guests can check out your listing, ask questions, and decide if your service or experience is right for them. Then they will need to review your requirements before making a reservation.

What happens once they’ve booked

When a guest books, we'll send you an email with their profile and contact information. Guests will receive a confirmation with details about where to meet and when, and what to bring (if applicable).

A group message thread is automatically created between you, the booker, and any additional guests. This thread allows you to stay in touch before, during, and after their reservation.

Need to get in contact with a guest of an experience? You can contact them privately by heading to Details and clicking or tapping the messaging icon next to their name in Who’s going.

You can also give guests a better idea of what to expect by sending them visual attachments.

Primary bookers for groups

If you need the primary booker to verify their ID before attending your service or experience, they’ll have 3 days to do so, or their entire reservation will be automatically canceled.
