You may have the option to block the user after reporting the message. To do so, select Block this person, and then Block. The effects of blocking may vary depending on the situation.
If you block someone, they won’t be able to send you messages, book your listing, or accept a reservation request from you. However, the effects of blocking may vary depending on the situation.
If you block a host or guest for an upcoming reservation or during an active reservation, you may continue to receive messages from the blocked user before and during the reservation, and for up to two weeks after the reservation ends to ensure all necessary post-reservation communications are completed.
For group messages, the conversation closes for everyone once the two-week post-reservation window ends.
If you cancel the reservation, blocking takes effect immediately. You can always contact us to step in and help.
If you block a host or guest during an active inquiry, it stops everyone in the thread from messaging each other.
