Host profiles are shown in full on their listing(s), with some information appearing in search results, while a limited version of guest profiles are shown to hosts when requesting to book, and is then shown in full after a reservation is made.
Guests may see information from your profile, or a preview of your full profile directly on your listing. They can always check out your full host profile by clicking or tapping on the primary profile picture displayed on your listing.
A limited version of your profile is shown to a host if you request to book a stay. In this case, before booking, we hide your profile photo, but show your first name and reviews. We also may show other details from your profile, like past trips represented as travel stamps, and optional info such as the location you’re based in, the languages you speak, and your interests. After you book, a host can see your full profile. See full details of what information is shared on your profile.
Anyone can visit a host or guest’s full profile from any review.
When you invite other people to join your travel group on a reservation, they can see your profile, and the profile of other people who accept the invitation to join. In addition, when you book an experience or join someone else’s reservation, other people going on the experience can see your profile, too.
It’s always a good idea to make sure your profile is up-to-date with info you’re comfortable sharing. For hosts of Rooms, updating your profile also helps with keeping your Host Passport fresh.
