Hi Microsoft Support, I am looking for assistance on how to enable or access the Copilot Chat feature within the Outlook for Mac sidebar. Importantly, I can confirm that Copilot Chat is fully functional and visible when I use Outlook on the Web (OWA). This indicates that my license is active and correctly assigned, but the feature is missing from my desktop client. My Environment Details: Outlook Version: 16.106 (Build 25122912) Update Channel: [Beta Channel / Insider] Interface: "The New Outlook" for Mac License: Microsoft 365 [Business/Enterprise] with Copilot Problem Description: The Copilot Chat icon does not appear in the left-hand navigation bar in the desktop app. When I check the "More Apps" section to customize the sidebar, Copilot is not listed as an option to add. I would appreciate your help with the following: Since the feature works in the web version, why is it not syncing/appearing in the Mac Desktop app (Version 16.106)? Are there any specific "Connected Experiences" or local settings I need to toggle to force the Copilot app to appear in the sidebar? Is there a way to reset the local app configuration or cache to recognize my Copilot entitlement? Thank you for your assistance in getting the desktop integration working.519Views2likes5Comments"Sorry, this conversation has reached its limit. Let's start a new chat."
Hi All, We're currently using Copilot for Microsoft 365 in our business and I'm finding it incredibly annoying when Copilot tells me this. "Sorry, this conversation has reached its limit. Let's start a new chat." When I asked Copilot why, this is what I receive. "The message “Sorry, this conversation has reached its limit. Let’s start a new chat.” means that the current conversation has reached the maximum number of turns or messages allowed. Each conversation with me, Copilot Pro, has a limit on the number of turns it can take. Once this limit is reached, the conversation cannot continue further in the same thread. Starting a new chat will initiate a new conversation where you can continue to ask questions or request assistance. This is a measure to ensure optimal performance and user experience. I hope this clarifies your query! 😊" When I asked Copilot what the limit is, this is what I receive. "I’m sorry, but I can’t provide the exact number of turns or messages allowed in a conversation. The limit is set to ensure optimal performance and user experience. However, once the limit is reached, you can always start a new conversation. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with! 😊" I'd love to understand the logic for such a limitation. Can anyone kindly explain this is plain simple English please? Thanks! Cheers, Eddie | Zhamatix45KViews2likes12CommentsCopilot Makes Branding Easy! New PowerPoint Brand Images Feature
🚀 New PowerPoint Feature: Brand Images + Copilot Enhances Brand Consistency! Microsoft has just released a powerful new capability in PowerPoint: Brand Images, allowing users to insert company‑approved logos, icons, and photos directly from within the app. No more searching through folders, Teams chats, or old emails to find the “right” logo. With the help of Microsoft 365 Copilot, users can now build professional, brand‑consistent presentations faster than ever. 📌 What this means for organizations: Centralized, controlled access to brand assets Ensures up‑to‑date logos and visuals Eliminates incorrect or outdated branding Seamless user experience inside PowerPoint To enable this feature, admins must configure the Organization Assets Library (OAL) in SharePoint and upload approved brand assets. Do I need to have a Copilot license to use MCP servers through Frontier?
Do I need to have a Copilot license to use Microsoft-published MCP servers for Word / Teams / Outlook / SharePoint under Microsoft Agent 365 (Frontier)? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-agent-365/tooling-servers-overview12Views0likes0CommentsNot able to continue editing in Outlook

In the fast-evolving world of artificial intelligence, the term “Copilot agent” has become almost ubiquitous. These intelligent assistants—whether guiding developers in code completion, helping customer service teams respond to emails, or assisting radiologists interpreting scans—are transforming how work gets done. But as with any powerful tool, the key question isn’t just what these agents can do, but when they should act alone and when humans must stay in the loop. This is where the concept of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) becomes essential. It’s not about limiting AI; it’s about responsible collaboration between humans and machines. https://dellenny.com/human-in-the-loop-where-copilot-agents-should-and-shouldnt-act-alone/Copilot Should Allow Structured Outputs from Enterprise Data
Copilot’s enterprise search works well—but once it retrieves emails, chats, or files, it forces all output into fixed paragraph summaries. This stops us from generating structured, actionable documents (matrices, task lists, project summaries, prioritized workflows, etc.) using our own organizational data. This is severely limiting normal business processes. Please consider updating Copilot to allow structured formats when users explicitly request them. It would dramatically improve real-world usability.3Views0likes0CommentsWhat's difference creating Agent from Copilot page vs from Copilot Studio -> Copilot for M365?
Hello, I am learning about Copilot and was very confused by these two different ways to do it. My understanding is both are "Declarative Agents" which lets the Microsoft 365 Copilot do the most heavy lifting. Method 1. First way is to go to Copilot page and clicking 'Create an Agent' w3 Method 2: Going to Copilot Studio -> Agents -> Copilot for Microsoft 365 -> New Agent (Couldn't find a screenshot) Q1. Anyway, first, I created an Agent using the first Method 1 above, and now I see it on the Copilot page under 'Agents' section. However, when I go to Copilot Studio -> Agents -> Copilot for Microsoft 365, I don't see that Agent there. Is this normal and intended? Q2. Is an Agent created using the Method 1 only available to people who have Copilot license? (as long as they are shared; I see options are only me, anyone in the organization, and specific users in the organization) Q3. Could you please confirm agents created using either way above are both "Declarative Agents"? Sorry for the newbie questions in advance... I took the course MS-4010 and reviewed several posts but still confusing...3.2KViews4likes10CommentsCopilot Studio - failed to publish new agent
Hi Experts, I am beginner of Copilot Studio. I wanted to subscribe to Pay-As-You-Go. Recently I have subscribed Azure Subscription Plan. Under Power Platform admin centre have create billing plan for Copilot Studio with PAYG. In Copilot Studio when I tried to Publish newly created agent I received "You currently do not have a user license that allows you to publish in Copilot Studio. Please contact your administrator to upgrade your license or enable the necessary permissions". Did I miss out anything? Am I required to have Copilot Pro ? Agentic AI is no longer a futuristic concept it’s already reshaping how teams work. Microsoft Copilot has evolved beyond a simple assistant that responds to prompts. Today, it can act as an agent: planning tasks, making decisions, calling tools, and collaborating across systems like Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and enterprise data sources. But with great autonomy comes great responsibility. Designing safe agentic workflows is critical. Without proper guardrails, Copilot-powered agents can expose sensitive data, take unintended actions, or produce results that undermine trust. In this blog, we’ll explore how to design secure, reliable, and auditable agentic workflows using Microsoft Copilot, with clear architectural principles and hands-on technical steps. Whether you’re a developer, architect, or IT leader, this guide will help you move from experimentation to production safely. https://dellenny.com/designing-safe-agentic-workflows-with-microsoft-copilot/117Views0likes0CommentsAllow new line on Enter / CTRL-Enter to submit instead of Enter submits

If it survives, I'll add more commentary.)474Views1like6CommentsChange Default for Copilot Automatic Room Rebooking Setting in Outlook?
My users with Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses have noticed a newer feature that automatically rebooks meetings with an alternate room if the selected room is unavailable. It appears that this setting is on by default and can be turned off on a per case basis when a new meeting event is being scheduled. Is there a way to turn it off by default and allow people to enable it when a new calendar item is being created instead? Here is what it looks like for me in Outlook. I can click on Edit from the new meeting window and turn it off for a single event. I haven't found a way to change that default behavior. Has anyone found a way to adjust this? Thank you! Hi all, I'm running into an issue when trying to export a solution that contains an agent built in Copilot Studio using the Confluence MCP “search” tool (Rovo search). I’m hoping someone can help clarify whether additional steps are required, or if this is a product limitation/bug. Scenario I’m building an agent that uses the Confluence MCP connector, specifically the Rovo “search” tool, combined with agent instructions to filter a specific Confluence space. Everything works fine in my developer environment, and now I’m preparing to move the solution to QA. However, I'm blocked at the export step. Steps I Followed Created the agent Added and configured Confluence MCP Selected only the “search” tool Set up agent instructions Created a new solution Added the agent to the solution Exported the solution Received the following error: Solution "xxxxxx" failed to export: Exporting connection reference <masked_connection_reference_id> for a custom connector requires the custom connector to be added to a Dataverse solution. Please add connector <masked_connector_id> to a solution and retry. What I Already Checked When I added the agent to the solution, only the Connection References were added automatically — no Custom Connectors were included. So, I manually added the Confluence MCP Custom Connector to the solution. Despite doing so, the export still fails with the same error. Additional Observations If I create a similar agent that uses only the searchConfluenceUsingCql tool (not the Rovo “search” tool), the solution exports without issues and I can successfully import it into QA. This makes me suspect that the problem is specific to the Rovo “search” capability in the MCP. Question Has anyone encountered this before? Do different steps need to be followed when an agent uses the Rovo “search” tool in the Confluence MCP? Or could it be a known issue? Any guidance or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thank youuu!73Views0likes2CommentsPowerPoint Frontier Agent Missing on Web and Not Working on Desktop
Hi everyone, I’m seeing inconsistent availability of Frontier agents across Microsoft 365 apps and wanted to check whether others are experiencing the same. Excel (web) → Frontier agent available Word (web) → Frontier agent available PowerPoint (web) → Frontier agent missing PowerPoint (desktop) → Frontier agent appears, but does not generate any text. The panel keeps loading indefinitely.. I’ve confirmed I’m on Microsoft 365 Premium and using the Beta Channel. Is this a known rollout gap, or is there something I should check on my end? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!70Views0likes1CommentIssue with the Copilot Prompt Gallery
The Prompt Gallery is available in Microsoft 365 Copilot, but it does not appear in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. How can I access it within these Office applications? Hi, My name is Sam. I have been using the free version of Copilot for almost a week now, but the system is too limited for the work I am doing. Using the Copilot though, I have created a formal comprehensive request for access to higher powered A.I. What I do not know is who to send it too. If anyone can provide relevant information, that would be greatly appreciated.55Views0likes1CommentCopilot in MS365 not available with one account on one Mac
I am stumped as to why my wife cannot see Copilot in the menu bar of any MS 365 app on her laptop. She is part of the family plan, and I have confirmed that her subscription credentials allow her to use Copilot. The MS apps are at the latest version, along with macOS. Scenario 1: When my wife uses her MS credentials to log in to any MS 365 app on her laptop, Copilot does not appear in the menu bar. When I log her out of MS 365 and log in with my credentials on her laptop, the Copilot appears on the menu bar. She can run the standalone Copilot app on her laptop using her credentials. Scenario 2: When my wife uses her MS credentials to log in to any MS 365 app on my laptop, Copilot appears in the menu bar. I can't tell what is preventing Copilot from appearing in MS 365 on my wife's laptop when she is using her credentials.85Views0likes1Comment
