Comedic timing? Fantastic
these pizzas are in fighting for their lives in the artic rn
Hey, I've worked at multiple grocery stores over the years, and these pizzas are no longer safe for human consumption. This frost means the freezer has been turned on and off and on and off a bunch of times, melting and thawing and refreezing over and over. Don't buy food covered in thick frost.
i promise you the ingredients of those frozen pizzas are more damaging to your health than whatever minimal amount of bacteria managed to grow in between fridge outages
why are you catholic
why are you pro mold and catholic
Writing would be so much easier if I didn't have youtube or computer games Right There.
"Derin you can get timed apps to block -- " No. I don't want to block them. They're too fun.
Me when I block myself from my games.

“The axe forgets, but the tree remembers” is typically a very true statement. Unless, of course, you have moral ocd, in which case the axe has been haunted for weeks and the tree does not remember or care. In fact, many sources report that the axe, which is actually a plastic butter knife, has never been anywhere near a forest. And also there is no tree.
doctor: cure is simple. go see clown
chronically ill patient: but doctor, I'm seeing a clown right now and he's not helping
Calling capes "parahumans" is reductive in that it reduces them to their superpowers. We should be using person-first language, and be calling them "people with superpowers."
Update: we've gotten rid of all that DEI crap and gone back to calling them "superfreaks"
Me, reblogging from anyone I don't follow: I'm introducing diversity into the gene pool. This will make my mutuals' dashes stronger and healthier.
Me reblogging old posts: I am reintroducing historical species into the gene pool to hybridize with the dashboard equivalent of pugs, making them stronger and healthier.
Me reblogging legacy posts: there are New Users, young Mutuals who were not here for the Old Times and do not remember the Old Ways. Someone must teach them, lest they be Lost.
Me reblogging 20 posts a day from a new hyper-fixation completely out of left field: I must strengthen the bodies and minds of my followers. Only the most determined will remain, and once we’re through, their resilience will know no bounds
sick of hearing about "healing crystals" that "cleanse your mind and body of negative energy" i want to know which rocks can hurt you and fuck up your vibe so bad
everyone suggesting uranium isn't wrong but anyone who said "literally any rock if you're willing to resort to violence" are the only people who can get on my level. you're hired.

Daughter: You realize this puts you in the top 1% of the top 1%, right? The elite of the elite! That's extremely good.
Father: *glaring at his brand new "#272993 Dad" mug* I still don't like it.
Father's Co-Worker: *drinking out of a "#5122653 Dad" mug* How was Father's Day?
Father: *feeling smug* Pretty great, actually.
Marie Curie's notebooks are crazy once you think about it. They're so radioactive they have to be sealed in a lead box. Imagine a world where atomic theory is forgotten and a dude just goes "yea there's a book that details the secrets of the universe, the machinations of the creation of existence down to its barest essentials, but if you get close to it you fucking die. The more you read it the more your body slowly disassembles into mush." like wat excuse me
This is why terf arguments that trans women don't experience "real" misogyny because we can't get pregnant and therefore can't be denied abortions falls flat. Women aren't deprived of the right to abortion because there's just something about uteruses that make everyone want to oppress people who have them. They're deprived abortions because women as a class are seen as undeserving of body autonomy. Not every woman can get pregnant (cis or trans), but they are still deprived of their autonomy, bodily, sexual, etc., in servitude of men.
This is transfeminism!
I enjoy when people give me a hard time about using the term "sequential art" because they think it's just a pretentious way of saying "comics", because when I point out that "comics" and "sequential art" are overlapping but non-identical mediums, they invariably demand an example of sequential art that isn't comics, and I get to hit them with "PowerPoint presentations".
@urlocallesbiab replied:
i like how you said "overlapping" instead of "one being a wider category than the other" do you have any examples of comics that don't count as sequential art? (this isn't a gotcha question, this is me engaging in good-natured, sportsmanlike pedantry, along with expressing my curiosity)
