it does not take a wise man to be able to tell Something Is Wrong. it does, however, take a person of correct political consciousness and analysis to be able to make sense of what actually is wrong. This kind of trite schlock is representative of the broader problems of analysis that Liberalism is fundamentally incapable of resolving -- that Liberal analyses cannot make sense of the world. They can see the disparate points of light, the twinkling lights in the sky trying to spell out the truth to them -- but without the unifying power of dialectical materialist analysis and the analytical technologies of marxist-leninist theory, they are unable to solidify them and unify them in a constellation by which they can navigate. they will grasp at the vulgar political "consciousnesses" which have been endowed them by the feeble technologies of Liberalism -- citing "dopamine addiction," "the free market," "advertising," any other vague gesture towards cause so long as they are not required to actually pick up a fucking book and learn What Is To Be Done.
and the inevitable consequence of this is a reactionary, resigned, hopeless, condescending, and self-satisfied apocalyptic, apathetic misanthropy.
