fandom as a whole is migrating away from a mutual appreciation of a story and towards an endless cycle of nitpicking and discourse and frankly that’s just Exhausting
Its just an endless stream of “you’re doing it wrong”. You’re reading this wrong, you’re appreciating this character wrong, you’re appreciating this character too much, you’re not appreciating this character enough, its not enough that I don’t like this pairing but it’s wrong to like it, you’re enjoying this wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
And honestly it’s just tiring.

hi guys! discord is doing a survey on how people would like ai to be integrated into discord. take it and say fuck no to every question. when you get to "in general, how do you feel about discord inegrating ai features?", respond that you would actively get everyone you know off of discord and wouldn't pay for nitro or other shop items if they added ai features.

I selected "13-17" and "male" because if discord sees that half the anti-AI people taking the survey are old enbys, they'll realise we're a minority and not representative of their wider user base. (idk if the majority of discord users are <18 but they're almost definitely the most underrepresented in the survey so their voice means the most) (ofc most discord users are male) (oh and I considered selecting "North America" but figured tumblr is more US-centric then discord so actually anything but it is best so I selected Eastern Europe cuz that's where I'm actually from)
just dont give them that data. respond you prefer not to say. i dont see why its necessary at all for them to know your age, gender, or location for a survey about whether or not you want ai on the platform.
