fuck my gay life. pharmacist asked for my ID when I was picking up my testosterone and instead of my driver’s license, I accidentally grabbed the fool tarot card I keep behind it in my phone case and went to hand that to her
Everyones allways like "Go, My Scarab" and throws me at a guy but no ones ever like "Come Here My Scarab" and gives me a hug, know what I mean?

My Favourite D&D Sub Classes From Each Class (Part 3 of 3)
You know the drill, my favourites of every class. However this time there's a twist, these three classes don't have just one favourite subclass for me. Of course, share yours in the comments.
Paladin: Oath of Vengeance Vengeance is simple & effective, with so much potential for characters, making for a paladin with a much more interesting relationship to their oath. Its abilities are simple & straightforward... you hit things HARD. I love that this is the hater paladin & it commits to it perfectly. In Baldur's Gate 3, I have played a resist dark urge githyanki vengeance paladin who broke her oath in blind hatred of ilithids, unjustly killing Omelium. After she came to terms with her origins & moved past it, she took up her oath once more in order to vanquish the BBEG of the game
Paladin: Oathbreaker I absolutely adore the concept of the oath breaker, as one who has abandoned the oath that defined their life until then. However, since this is designed to be an evil enemy paladin, this subclass's mechanics do not capture what I love so much about its theme, it does not capture the narrative theme of freedom & choice to determine one's own future that it has in Baldur's Gate 3.
Paladin: Oath of Conquest In the inverse of the oathbreaker, I absolutely love the mechanics of the conquest paladin. Its focus around being so terrifying to take on in a fight that they stop enemies from moving altogether is perfect. however, the oath itself is complicated, as the oath is to conquering your enemies & ruling with tyranny which restricts this paladin to evil characters, unless you can flavour it similarly to the vengeance paladin, glory paladin or even swearing to conquer one's own fears & explore the world.
Sorcerer: Aberrant Mind I have always loved cosmic horror & deep see monsters, so this one is right up my alley as the only subclass to get hunger of hadar without playing a warlock. This sub class's focus on eldritch power & psychic power is so unique & flavourful among the sorcerer sub classes, providing a deadly stealth caster, party coordinator & battlefield controller.
Sorcerer: Wild Magic This is pretty self explanatory, I love chaos & this subclass is chaos incarnate. The unpredictable nature of the subclass is perfect for playing a mage with little control over their own power to the point of being a danger to everyone around them, as well as a chaotic gremlin of pure destruction.
Warlock: The Hexblade I have always loved the idea of having a cursed magic sword that the player has to get along with to fight properly (too be fair I grew up on the comic series, Dungeon) & am a sucker for the spell blade warlock playstyle.
Warlock: The Fathomless I love that the fathomless takes the concept of an ocean themed warlock & runs with it with a unique play style focused around slowing enemies down & controlling their movement, while being very simple to integrate.
Warlock: The Undead The undead warlock does very similar things to the fathomless, but replace speed debuffs with fear & a magical girl transformation of temporary hit points. Less so a necromancer than a necromancee.
HEY! We were here first! Go find a spot somewhere else!
Favourite Sub Classes for Every Class (Part 2 of 3)
I am going through every class & looking at what subclass is my favourite, for all of you looking to try new ones or just hearing others' thoughts on available options. What are your favourites? post them in the comments!
Druid: Circle of Spores Alongside being the subclass of my favourite player character ever, circle of spores is deceptively powerful. Symbiotic entity is a feature that scales at a crazy fast rate, allowing you to gain 4xdruid level temporary hit points, meaning you get the sturdiness of the moon druid, while still being able to cast spells. I also absolutely love the theming of the class around death & decay as a natural part of life, which really hits home for me as someone with a fear of death, it feels somewhat comforting in a way.
Fighter: Battle Master The battle master is one of the most versatile & customizeable sub classes in the entire game, while elavating the base class with a level of strategic depth & frequency of access to resources that is genuinely refreshing.
Monk: Way of/Warrior of Mercy The mercy monk is so cool, a martial sub lcass themed around healing & poison is super unique & awesome. I love that the abilities of the class tell a story, going from a doctor who administers mercy through healing when possible & death when not, to in the end learning the ultimate mercy of never giving up one someone, even when there's no hope & learning how to resurrect the dead. The mask is also a really nice bit of flavour to make this subclass pop when in a line up of all the monks.
Ranger: Drake Warden Although the swarm keeper is a close second, the drake warden ranger is definitely the best ranger subclass, due to one key element: it makes the ranger worth playing all the way through. The issue with ranger is that the base class has really bad features in both 2014 & 2024, however the sheer amount of power & flavour of the drake warden makes the class into something fun & engaging that more than makes up for the weak & situational features. Face it, who wouldn't want a dragon companion that grows up as the adventure like a pokemon? One of my two current characters is a dragon born drake warden who's sister is her drake companion & their bickering & protectiveness of each other is really fun to play out
Rogue: Swashbuckler The swashbuckler rouge is so simple, yet perfectly encapsulates exactly what it is & wants to be. Fancy footwork lets you dip in & out of danger with ease, rakish audacity allows you to propel yourself into battle with swagger & confidence, while opening up more windows to sneak attack than other rouges. This is the perfect dastardly package to sail the seven seas with grace & cunning.
Wizard: Order of Scribes The order of scribes is the most wizardly wizard. Focusing in on expanding the power & utility of your spellbook & spells of all kind to become the master of spellslinging, espionage & scouting. Its features, although not the flashiest of wizards, perfectly encapsulate a theme & identity among wizards while also capturing the essence of the class.
