I WAS HACKED 🔉

Hi guys.

Not a post I ever thought I’d have to make, but unfortunately for a while (29th Nov-2nd Dec) I got hacked and didn’t have access to my account.

I want to sincerely apologise to everyone who had received phishing messages from this account in the couple of days the scammers seemed to have access before Tumblr support put a block on the account while they sorted things out - they were not me, and I’m extremely glad to see, from looking back through the messages that were sent, that it doesn’t look like they got anyone else they reached out to through this account.

I regained access to this account on Tuesday (2nd Dec) and am back in control of everything.

It’s the type of thing I thought I was too smart/switched on to ever let happen to me, but it really is true what they say, that you don’t know what can happen when you’re caught in a moment of vulnerability/distraction. It all went down while I was rushing about getting ready to go out and literally waiting for my taxi to go meet friends on Saturday night.

But it’s also the type of mistake you make once and never make again, that’s for sure.

Just so incredibly sorry again to anyone who received weird messages from me!
