So, this isn’t the first post ever made like this, but I’m trying to do something a little different than just posting a bunch of links. I’m only gonna include resources that are international, common, displayed either as a map or as a geographically-sorted list, and easy to participate in, to make this masterpost as accessible as I possibly can. If you’re reading this post you’re probably an English-speaker with an internet connection, and so with that in mind my goal here is that any given link you click will have a decent chance of having something near you, and there will almost certainly be at least one link on this list with something you can plug into

basically if you're ever telling any trans person they need to shut up and that they're taking up too much space talking about their own gendered experience I do need you to remember that cis people exist in this world who never ever have to compete for this kind of discussion space. their existence & experience is taken for granted. no trans person can ever take up too much space, no trans person will ever be too loud, as long as cisgenderism is still considered the norm. we do not need fewer of any type of trans person - we need more of all of us, everywhere, & we need more willingness to listen. more voices makes for a more solid foundation of experience. more hands for lighter work.

Rene Magritte: The Glass Key (1959)

Being a very poor painter, Magritte's works seldom resembled what he intended them to. This attempt at a glass key ended up looking like a rock in a mountain landscape.

Other mispainted works included his attempt at a self portrait, which looked like a slice of ham with an eyeball; his painting "Heartstrings" which resembled a cloud in a glass; and perhaps his most famous failure, "This is Not a Pipe," which sadly very clearly showed a pipe.

The amount of active transphobia and anti masculinity on this app makes me want to pull my hair out. The fuck you mean when you say butches opt out of transphobia because we are "woman-lite" or "wannabe men".... Like I haven't been getting kicked out of women's bathrooms and women's spaces since I was a kid because I've always been masculine and policing gender based of feminine and masculine aspects is a terf talking point and extremely misogynistic and transphobic but yea sure let's just forget all that as say people like me don't experience transphobia 💀🔫 the queer online community is so fucked. please TOUCH SOME FUCKIN GRASS

I’m transfem and also a butch and yeah when I’m not getting transphobia for being a trans woman I’m getting transphobia for being butch. It’s ridiculous that people are saying that about butches and it’s so obvious they’ve never lived as a butch or even spoken to one. Here in the UK butches are big defenders of trans people against our terf lobby because the exact same women that are part of our terf lobby now were the ones going after butches and leatherdykes back in the 80s.

My child, who spends their entire life being transfered from home to car to school and back, and is not allowed to leave the house or talk to anyone and can only in their wildest dreams imagine a life free from constant surveillance, is very sad. Obviously they're dumb and lazy, like all kids these days.

kind of a tangent but i recently went to a bowling alley with my friend i'm 19 he's 18 and the woman at the door didn't want to let us in because there was a sign saying under-18s needed adult supervision. everything got cleared up and we were able to go bowl, but i'm still so mad about the fact that kids need adult supervision to go to a bowling alley and arcade. like okay maybe young kids should have supervision but what do you mean middle and high schoolers need to hold mommy's hand while they play video games. kids aren't just addicted to their phones because phones are addicting, we're addicted to our phones because there's nothing else to fucking do

I'm sure banning kids from online spaces while simultaneously not ensuring that they have access to offline spaces to socialize in (without having to rely on their parents who already don't have time for them) will help them feel better & less alienated from society.
