yes, she’s hilarious, arguably one of the funniest characters in the game. but please never ever forget that queen deltarune is so very kind. when noelle stands up to her, instead of pushing things further, she backs down, acknowledges that her assumptions were incorrect, and tells her to instead choose the world that would make her happy. on the weird route, she doesn’t even go through with making her be her peon anymore, worried enough about her health to just make her rest instead. berdly annoys her, yes, but she still concernedly warns him that removing her plug will injure him if he tries to do it himself, still searches for him everywhere on the weird route. if you recruited nobody from cyber city, she seemingly tries to hide it, but she’s very obviously sad that none of her citizens are there to enjoy castle town with her. even some of her goofier bits, like her concern over the lightners being potassium deficient or their browser-search themed rooms, imply a degree of care for them on her part.

queen calls off her plan as soon as ralsei explains the roaring to her, and that’s because her motivation was never something that stemmed from cruelty. she was misguided in her approach, yes, but it was nonetheless a plan born out of a desire for nobody to ever have to suffer again after witnessing that suffering firsthand.
Watching someone highly knowledgeable in tarot react to GX S2 is amusing. I only know the most basic of things (like the tower is Bad News or that the fool is about potential), yet you accurately call out almost every plot point and play related to it bc S2 is a funny case of expecting the viewer not to know much tarot and for it to come across as rather arcane (which is reasonable, tarot isnt exactly obscure but its very much not mainstream either), BUT its also well researched and accurate about it! So the result is that if any viewer knows about it well enough they can gleam a huge amount of stuff before the show actually reveals it
Tarot is a discipline i’m still learning but thank you for your sweet words! i just say what i think the card means in that senario and it turns out i’m right! yay me!
and now i have a bunch of information that i don’t know how to connect to each other, which is a lot like how i feel when i do actual tarot reading
the fact that i am able to predict plot points just based on the tarot cards alone speaks a lot about the research that was put into this season and how well it is written, wacky hijinks and all. and the way they are able to connect the meanings of the cards to major plot points is so impressive!!
sorry to double-post edward (though he’s been altered to match everyone else now) but this is the conclusion of my mini dawn brigade art series, so it felt fitting to put them all together now, him included. i love these five very much.
