Mmmmm question in case someone remembers…. do we have any war table mission where someone actually uses the rebel mages we have as allies (or constripted) or they are just there not doing anything. Same with the templars but I think cullen usually talks like he has templars with his soldiers no matter what route you pick. I think Leliana maybe talks about some mage sometimes ??? but like one or 2 in her missions. Basically I’m like really we have mages and allies and we are not using them for anything. Like none becomes part of our soldiers? Or Leliana’s agents? Do they know Fiona is boss fight level of strong and we are just having her there standing still in skyhold.

And yeah the whole thing of the loyalist is so absurd, because vivienne talks as if the loyalist vs rebels are 49% and 51% but then we could had used the loyalists to close the breach?? So it’s like they forgot about them. There are some hcs that most of the loyalist might be unexperienced or young mages (and that’s why they don’t want to rebel) but probably the writers just forgot,,,

(as per the agreement) There are some hints that some mages actively join the inquisition forces (like Grandin), but I don’t recall any wartable missions. On the same note, I also don’t recall any wartable missions using the loyalist mages from Vivienne?

tuxedo-rabbit said: the templars for sure have a couple war table missions where you can send them to handle tense situations between refugee mages and hostile civilians that want to kill them. Can’t think of a single war table mission that uses the allied mages for anything.
